IC Performance from a battery powered sweeper-scrubber with the B400

We are proud to be offering the new Powerboss B400 battery powered sweeper/scrubber combination machine. The B400 is a true sweeper/scrubber combination as it dry sweeps in the front and scrubs in the rear of the machine. This is a subtle but important difference from some other offerings in the market. By dry sweeping in the front, you get a clean release of debris from your hopper with nearly no cleanup maintenance required by the operator. Removing all the debris in the front leaves a debris free floor for the scrubbing section of the machine, which means a drastic reduction of clogs for the recovery/drain system, better long term usage of your wearable items as well as less streaky floors.

With conventional charging, this machine can work for over 7 hours on a single charge. If you couple this performance with an opportunity charger provided by MCP, you drastically increase the operational capacity between charges. A strategically placed charger can allow the operator to charge during system clean-outs as well as periodic/lunch breaks. The electric platform is much less expensive to maintain than an IC machine that utilizes hydraulic propulsion pumn and hydraulic broom/brush motors. You get the best of all worlds with this offering by Powerboss.

The B400 is available with all the options you would expect from an industrial cleaning machine, including: overhead-guard, blue directional light, high-dump hopper, e-coated frame, warning light, etc. There are several offerings that you won't find with competitive equipment. The RTR (Atomatic Rotary Trash Relocator) hopper can articulate when raised which will front load your hopper with any current debris. This function allows you to sweep longer and better utilize the capacity of the hopper.

The industry leading 106 gallon solution and recovery tanks offer a tremendous advantage over competitive equipment and allow the operator to clean for much longer periods before the machine needs to be cleaned out. This capacity greatly increases the efficiency of your cleaning tasks.

The B400, as well as many other Powerboss products, offers their unique dust control system for the front side brooms called Dust Stop. They provide a latex shroud around the bristles that cuts down on airflow generated by the spinning brooms without reducing the sweeping performance of the brooms. This option reduces fugitive dust by up to 90% when compared to conventional sweeping. Other manufactures use a vacuum system that requires maintenance and may become clogged, or water nozzles that can become clogged, which results in reduced water flow or nozzles that jet water creating a wet mess on the floor.
